Motaquip, the PSA Peugeot Citroen-owned all-makes aftermarket parts operation, has launched a serioes of technical information posters for independent garage operators. The first focuses on steering and suspension components, outlining basic function and providing guidance on fault diagnosis and common reasons for failure.

Motaquip's marketing manager Vince Clisham admitted that the poster series aimed to persuade garages to buy its safety-critical products rather than “cheap, low quality, imported product” which “potentially presents a real danger if people do not act responsibly.”

The campaign of which the posters form the latest step will, says Motaquip, “continue to press for legislation to govern the quality of safety critical parts supplied in the UK.”
