Yorkshire-based retailer Gilder Group has appointed its first female technician. Anne-Marie Ward (pictured) joins with 11 other apprentices on a three-year training programme.

Mark Panter, Gilder human resources manager, says: “Apprentices are the future of our workshops and will undergo manufacturer training programmes and mentoring to help them succeed.”

Gilder operates five Audi and Volkswagen franchises in Derby, Rotherham and Sheffield.
