Kia has introduced a new three-year/unlimited mileage manufacturer backed warranty on all its vehicles, effective immediately.

The new warranty replaces the three-year or 60,000-mile warranty and is in addition to the KiAssist three-year European roadside assistance programme and six-year anti-perforation warranty already included.

Kia aftersales director Richard Bush said: “We are extremely pleased to be able to offer what it still a rarity in the Uk market and the three-year/unlimited mileage warranty will only further our case with prospective customers. Such strong aftersales support demonstrates our commitment to the UK market.”

The new three-year/unlimited mileage warranty is in addition to the recently launched optional four or five-year warranty, which gives customers the chance to increase their warranty cover beyond three years. (January 2, 2002)
