Two carmaker directors heading radical retail reforms will speak at Automotive Management's autumn conference. Dermot Kelly, Mercedes-Benz UK director, will reveal his plans at Beyond Block Exemption at the Birmingham International Convention on October 4.
Personnel and training director Gary Birney will explain Toyota GB's new retail concept which focuses on a showroom host.
Pendragon chief executive Trevor Finn is also a speaker at the conference which addresses the need for new motor retail thinking after next year's Block Exemption review. Malcolm Harbour MEP will address delegates on the latest EC developments in a live link from Strasbourg. Conference chairman Andrew Tongue is the International Car Distribution Programme's Block Exemption specialist.
Grant Thornton Motor Retail's Piers Trenear-Thomas will have advice for small dealer groups.
