OneSwoop has announced a supply deal with dealer group CD Bramall, its first in the UK.

The online car retailer which until now has sourced cars direct from the Continent confirmed the deal, which will signicantly reduce customer waiting times, currently around four months.

Andy Carroll, OneSwoop's operations director, said: "CD Bramall holds 17 franchises across 80 dealerships which gives us the nationwide coverage we are looking for. We initially piloted the partnership with Ford and will be rolling it out to the other franchises gradually.

"Pendragon has an alliance with MSN Carview, Jamjar with Dixons. We are looking to build our own strong alliance."

With that in mind Mr Carroll insisted OneSwoop would not be looking for partnerships with other UK dealer groups.

Peter Jones, chief executive officer, CD Bramall said, "OneSwoop has established a successful consumer image, generating a high number of visitors to their web-site. The supply agreement will expand our business base for new and used vehicle sales. It's a case of clicks and mortar working together for mutual benefit."

The agreement could expand to include further co-operation, which may include used cars and commercial vehicles for sale through OneSwoop.
