Citroen's LCV market share has risen by 9.1% in the first half of 2001 (first half 2000: 7.7%), consolidating its position at number three in the market behind Ford and Vauxhall.
In the year-to-date Citroen sold 11,143 LCVs, nearly 2,000 more than in the same period in 2000 (9,161).
John Hargreaves, commercial vehicle operations manager, said: "In a virtually static market, Citroen has been able to increase its sales by more than 20%. This demonstrates the appeal of well-priced, high quality vans with their class leading warranty."
