Automotive Training Partners, an initiative set up by seven leading specialists, has reported growing interest from dealers who are recognising the importance of a fully trained workforce.
Large and small franchised dealerships are booking sessions with ATP, contradicting research from some analysts who claim the industry is going through a period of training apathy.
Christine Hockley, administrative co-ordinator at People First (Europe), said: “The initiative is starting to really take off, and we have already received a lot of interest from dealers. They are seeing the advantages of ATP, which will benefit the industry as a whole.”
Automotive Training Partners are: BTC (new/used car sales), People First Europe (business, fleet and commercial vehicle sales), Cyber Cars (internet selling), Capital Bank Motor (finance and insurance), Aftersales First (aftersales), Automotive Business College (management) and Lawgistics (trading standards, consumer and employment law).
