A new online payroll service for the motor trade has been launched, called Wagemail.

Wagemail.co.uk is believed to be the first of its kind in the UK. Businesses enter their payroll data into the secure Wagemail system and the necessary payroll information, including payslips and customised reports are returned within 24 hours.

When a business signs up it receives a password giving access to its own secure area. The Wagemail system, which the company says complies with all Inland Revenue requirements, archives all the company data that can be accessed at any time.

The system is also supported by Wagemail helpdesk staff.

Wagemail's managing director said: “Increasingly business transactions in the motor trade are carried out completely online so it seemed the natural step to design this system. It means companies can keep close check on staffing costs in a completely secure environment.”
