An internet site has joined the battle to drive down new van prices after importer Baglan Car Centre and car supermarket Motorpoint announced their intention to join the fray last week.

Car supplier Showroom4cars. com has launched a new service claiming to undercut the light commercial vehicle prices of dealers by as much as 40%.

The site sources vehicles from the UK and Europe, and attempts to provide the shortest delivery times through its network of suppliers. (October 9, 2001)
