Volkswagen has cut the prices of commonly replaced parts on the current Transporter range by up to 70%.
More than 44,000 Transporters sold in the UK since launch in 1991 could benefit from the reductions, which average 30%.
Typical wear-and-tear items from brake pads and exhausts to steering racks and lower ball joints are affected and some parts are common with the larger LT range.
Examples include a rear coil spring which was £131.69 and is now £45. A steering rack now costs £500 instead of £851 and a front suspension damper drops in price from £95 to £40.
