Manpower Recruitment are looking for Part Time Car Washers in Begbroke, Oxfordshire.
This is 20-25hrs per week paying £11.67ph. on a Permanent Basis.
***A driving Licence will be needed for the role and potential overtime for driving roles on-site.
Flexibility will be needed for Occasional Sundays.
Shifts will be 8am-12pm but some flexibility needed
Main Responsibilities:
Clean the inside and outside of vehicles to a high standard (KPI - 2 hours per vehicle)
Removal of rubbish
Hoovering all areas, including those hard to get to spaces
Wiping all surfaces and using the tools and cleaning products provided to remove crumbs and debris from crevices
Mopping floors and removing stains where possible
Removal of stubborn stains on the outside of vehicles;
Pre-wash - scrub - rinse
Including wheels, windows, mirrors and bodywork
Hand all lost property to the Splitters team
Pre-Rental checks
Conduct vehicle checks such as fuel, oil, coolant, screen wash & AdBlue levels, correct working of external lights and electrics, visual inspection of safety & tyre changing equipment, proper functioning of all internal equipment (e.g. seat belts, power points, lights, entertainment system, heating, aircon, etc,) and checking tyre pressures and treads via a software system (Prohire) using a tablet
Report all faults/issues via Vehicle Management System (VMS)
Be solely responsible that vans meet safety standards before going out on hire
Basic maintenance
Changing bulbs
Changing tyres
Removing/adding seats
Other tasks such as changing wing mirrors, numberplates, windscreen wipers, plastic trim, seat belts, etc, depending on individual's expertise and experience
Re-fuelling of vans
Keeping an accurate record of fuel usage
Management of the Diesel tank and levels
Use all products, chemicals and equipment with the correct PPE safely and in line with training and safe methods of work
Deep cleaning and routine maintenance during quieter periods (e.g wet vac seats, painting / touch up of rust spots etc)
Perform check-outs and check-ins where necessary, ensuring that all damage is recorded correctly in order to avoid potential disputes with hirers
Ensuring valeting workshop is left in a tidy condition after use and all cleaning materials & equipment are returned to the correct storage area
General driving duties as required
