Car Washer / Cleaner

Part time opportunity - 8.30am to 1pm Monday to Friday

Are you looking for a part time cleaning job – weekday mornings, from 8.30am to 1pm, Monday to Friday? Ideally, you need a full UK driving licence and live in the Gravesend / Northfleet, Swanscombe, or Greenhithe areas.

Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be assisting a local, family run Garage Services business in their search for a reliable, responsible, and physically fit person who can work weekdays (until 1pm). The role may suit a person who is looking for an additional, regular source of income and still have their afternoons and weekends free !

The Cleaner / Car Washer duties will include:

* Checking incoming vehicles for existing damage prior to any work being carried out

* Checking In/Out courtesy cars for existing and new damage

* Working to checklists and preparing Vehicle Condition Reports, detailing any of the above

* Washing cars (external only)

* Re positioning of vehicles (on site only)

* Cleaning and tidying staff facilities (reception, kitchen area, bathroom)

* Washing cleaning cloths / sponges

* Stock control of cleaning equipment

* Occasionally meeting / greeting of customers

* Occasional tea / coffee making for staff and visitors

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to manage their own workload and take complete ownership of the role.

What is required?

* Ability to commit to working a regular 8.30am to 1pm shift - Monday to Friday

* Common sense

* A ‘self-starter’ attitude to work

* A current / clean driving licence

* A keen eye for detail

* Exceptional customer service skills
