Specialist Cars Aberdeen, owned by John Clark Motor Group, has added Renault Sport status to its franchise in the city.

Renault announced plans to establish a specialist network of 26 Renault Sport dealers in the UK in December last year.

Renault Sport dealerships are recognised to to be specialists with the French brand’s sportier products, however all Renault Sport vehicles can be purchased and serviced through any Renault dealership.

As a Renault Sport dealership, Specialist Cars Aberdeen will have a designated showroom area where customers are able to view the latest additions to the high performance range together with a selection of official accessories and merchandise.

David Barnes has been appointed to the role of RS specialist advisor at the dealership.

Barnes said: “Aberdeen and the surrounding area has a high number of Renault Sport enthusiasts.

“We are seeing more and more Renault Sport customers call on us for their after sales requirements and we are also in the midst of building our stock of hand-picked, approved used vehicles, so that we are able to offer the best and most extensive selection of pre-owned Renault Sport cars in the region.”

Barnes said the business is also looking at enhancing its presence on the Renault Sport owners’ forum and organising customer track days.
