Audi is increasing its prices by an average 2% from February 23.

Increased financial pressure bought on by the Euro to Sterling exchange rate has caused the rise, said Audi, but the German carmaker added key models will receive equipment upgrades.

Prices of existing orders are protected.

Popular models will benefit from the equipment upgrades worth between £1,480 and £2,640 from today until April 31.

These include A3 TDIe Sport at no extra cost and the standard A4 with an Executive SE upgrade.

Prices for S4 Saloon and Avant, A5 Cabriolet, new Audi Q5, RS 6 and Audi Q7 models will remain unchanged.

The price of the latest version of the R8 sports car, the 5.2-litre FSI quattro, will also remain as recently announced.
