Martin Boagey is Bristol Street Motor’s new general manager for its Sunderland Vauxhall dealership.

Boagey was previously general manager with Reg Vardy at its Leeds Vauxhall and Hartlepool Vauxhall sites and latterly a regional director with Pendragon.

The announcement comes straight after Vertu Motors, Bristol Street’s parent company, revealed it had purchased Grantham Motor Company for £4.6 million in cash.

The group is also relocating its Newcastle Vauxhall site, headed by Brian Baxter, from the city centre to a new brand centre on Scotswood Road which is currently under construction.
