Peugeot will be showcasing its hybrid technology at the British International Motor Show next month in its 307 CC Hybride HDi.The British International Motor Show will be held at London’s Excel Centre from July 18-30.
It is powered by a combination of 1.6-litre HDi diesel ‘Stop & Start’ engine and an electric power train. It is being considered for inclusion in Peugeot’s lineup in 2010.
The hybrid engine has a mixed-cycle fuel consumption of nearly 70mpg, a 30% gain compared to the standard HDi model.
