DuPont Refinish has launched a revamped Low Emission (LE) programme to support its volatile organic compounds (VOC) products, in preparation for the new European legislation coming into effect on January 1, 2007.

A marketing kit is now available for bodyshops using DuPont paints which identifies them as having switched to VOC compliant products. It consists of signage, a counter display and leaflets.

DuPont Refinish has also marked its range of compliant products with the new LE logo.

The European directive on VOC will restrict the use of solvent-based refinish products, and means bodyshops can only use waterborne and high solids products from January 1.
