Cadillac’s luxury SUV, the Escalade, will go on sale in Europe this autumn. It will be on show next week at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Escalade features a new aluminium V8 engine with an output of 409bhp. It is based on General Motors’ brand new full-size SUV architecture and has a new chassis, safety and interior systems.

Variations of the Escalade, the ESV (extended version) and the EXT (pick-up version), will not be launched in Europe.

Details of prices, specifications and standard equipment of the European version of the Escalade will be available closer to launch.
