The Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) has published a consumer guide to payment protection insurance (PPI).

The guide is designed to answer any questions consumers may have in particular about:

  • What they and the seller are responsible for;
  • The risks and benefits of the policy;
  • policy exclusions;
  • paying for a policy; and
  • cancelling a policy

  • The guide is now out for consultation until December 31 and be found at www.fla.org.uk/news.
