The site, which includes an eight-car showroom, along with space for up to 40 used cars, will be renamed Bridlington Toyota. All existing staff will be retained.
“This acquisition compliments our existing Toyota sites at York and Knaresborough.
Geographically it’s not too far from the others,” says Mark Robinson, managing director.
The next 12 months will see redevelopment across the group’s sites, including a significant investment in April at its York showroom to bring it into line with the Toyota retail centre concept. Knaresborough has also been earmarked for improvement and could be relocated to a new build.
“Bridlington is a great opportunity for us as we will be able to use centralised functions and economies of scale to increase revenue,” says Robinson.
