Gilders' Volkwagen outlet in Sheffield has reported a significant improvement in its recommendation levels from service customers in a recent survey.
Aftersales manager at the company's site at Banner Cross in Sheffield Garry Straw says recommendations from customers are up by 5%.
“This may not sound a lot, but when the percentages are already extremely high then it does make a difference,” says Straw.
Service levels are tracked by an outside agency to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Straw was recently recruited from another dealership within the Gilder Group, where he held the same position. His responsibilities include identifying ways to improve customer satisfaction and introducing new added value services for customers.
He currently heads a team of three service advisors at Banner Cross and attributes the recent improvement in performance to his strong team of professional service advisers.
