Parkers.co.uk, the leading consumer automotive site, has announced its latest ABC Electronic audit figures for January 2001 which show the website has 289,000 unique users and page impressions topped 4.65 million.
These figures represent a quadrupling of traffic to the web site in the last year and three out of four UK online car buyers now use the site.
The Parker's portfolio (print and digital) reaches 45% of all UK private car buyers.
Steve Tagg, digital publisher, said: “We are delighted with the audit figure. The ABC Electronic audit is a very important measure of success to any consumer website. It gives Parkers.co.uk the credibility that its unaudited rivals lack. It is also important to recognise that our tightly targeted user base is not a browsing audience. Parker's users are at the critical point at which they are prepared to commit to the buying process."
