##Quirk(1)--right## Bob Quirk, managing director at Atlantic Ford Wilmslow, Cheshire, becomes director of dealer operations and will focus on implementing common objectives covering the group's new and used car sales, parts, service and bodyshop divisions.

He said: "Quartic is now on course to expand and take advantage of existing opportunities. We are currently talking to other manufacturers within this context and the group remains a major player in the marketplace."

Roy Penney, of Bristol-based Brunel Ford, will now chair the Quartic board, while David Edwards is appointed director of corporate and commercial vehicle operations.

Mr Edwards, based at Heartlands Ford Perry Barr, West Midlands, takes control of the three Ford CMA business centres. He will develop Quartic's activities in the corporate new and used fleet market and commercial vehicles sector.
