WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE (Nights)
Tuesday - Saturday

Menzies Distribution are looking for Warehouse Operative to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first class service with our team in Ipswich, this role is based on a basic 20 hour week working Tuesday to Saturday (2.30am – 7.30am).

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE DUTIES

• Assemble customer supplies according to packing specifications
• Break down, allocate and load inbound magazine supplies
• Check the quality of packed orders
• Locate over-stocks, enabling efficient compiling of customer orders
• Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
• Adhere to company procedures and policies
• Unload, load, sort and scan deliveries 

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE REQUIREMENTS

1. Positive ‘can do’ and hardworking approach to work
2. Appetite for supporting colleagues
3. Physically fit to meet the demands of a warehouse environment
4. Problem-solving skills
5. Computer literate
6. An ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
7. Comfortable working to strict deadlines
8. Good communication skills
9. A FLT licence would be advantageous but not essential
