Our client, a popular family run and independent autocentre based in Chepstow, is looking for a permanent MOT Tester/ Technician to join their hardworking and friendly team.
To be successful for this role, you will have Level 3 training as a Vehicle Technician and be a fully qualified MOT Tester with a clean testing licence.
In recognition of your skills and experience, this role is paying between £11.00 and £15.00 per hour (£22,880 - £31,200) depending on experience, plus overtime is available if wanted.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a vehicle technician. This is because your day-to-day duties will consist of technician capabilities and duties will involve servicing vehicles, cam belt changes and fixings to clutches, as well as regular MOT testing.
You will need a full UK driving licence, your own vehicle and tools, as well as an ability to repair to manufacturer guidelines, work unsupervised in a well-equipped and clean workshop and have the ability to identify problems quickly.
The working hours are 08:30- 17:30, Monday to Friday with a half day Saturday. This role also offers 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
