Classic Car Bodywork Technician Required in Bordon, Hampshire

Pay: £18.00 - £22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week- flexible start and finish times

Our client is a well-established Automotive Classic Car Restoration Company based in Bordon, Hampshire, seeking a dedicated Bodywork Prepper to join their dynamic team of classic car bodywork technicians and classic car mechanics.

Our client a bespoke Classic Car Repairing Business who specialise in Restoration, Race Car Preparation, Servicing and Mechanical Repairs, Vehicle Detailing and Bodywork for unique bespoke projects are currently looking for a couple of Bodywork Preparation Technicians with experience in Prep, Filler and Repair work within a Automotive workshop environment due to expansion and increasing work loads. Our client works on bespoke one off projects and require good eye for detail and a professional finish on all work completed for customers. Quality not quantity work is done with our client and looking for a similar quality Bodywork technician to join their team. 

Within this Car Bodywork Preparation Technician with our client:

Classic & Modern Car Body Filler Work & Prep: Proficient in carrying out body filler work and preparation for both classic and modern vehicles.
Preparation of cars: Sanded, primed and ready to be sprayed 
Time Management & Organisational Skills: Excellent ability to manage time efficiently and stay organised in a fast-paced work environment.
Passion for Cars: A genuine love for all types of cars, coupled with a keen interest in classic cars.
Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work harmoniously alongside other bodywork staff and contribute positively to the team's success.
Independent Work: Capable of working alone while maintaining high-quality standards in the delivered results.
Work Pride: Takes pride in completed work and strives for excellence in every task.
Experience: Proficient in body prepping, blocking high build & epoxy primer, hand filling, and associated bodywork prep skills. Any experience with paint, mechanical work, or fabrication is attractive but not mandatory.
Prioritisation & Documentation: Skillful in prioritising tasks, completing necessary paperwork, and maintaining accurate job-sheets.Basic Requirements within this Classic Car Bodywork Technician:

Previous Bodywork Prepping / Polishing experience in the automotive industry. 
Genuine interest in and passion for cars.
Have experience in metal, fiberglass, carbon bodywork - our client can train for the right enthusiastic bodyshop prepper 
Proficient use of filler / primer getting cars ready to be sprayed Some of the perks within this Classic Car Bodywork Technician:
