Claims Engineer

Our client is one of the UK’s leading business-to-business car warranty suppliers, providing extended warranty cover and other motoring protection to over 3,500 dealerships across the UK.  We are looking for 3 Claims Engineers to join their existing team based in Thame, Oxfordshire.

Responsible on a day-to-day basis for the assessment, costing and
authorisation or rejection of claims. This role involves dealing with policy
holders, dealers, and repairers primarily over the telephone, ensuring all
queries are dealt with in a timely manner. Claims Engineers are also required to carry out any other administration duties to contribute to the day to day running of the department.

Applicants will need an NVQ or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Technology, Service Advisor accreditation or equivalent experience. 

Technical knowledge of motor vehicles and customer service experience would also be a benefit.  Previous experience working in a dealership environment is not essential.
