Used Car Sales Manager Bolton - £30,000.00 with achievable OTE of £50,000.00

Applications are encouraged from candidates who have experience in Sales Management. If you have managed a Sales Team within a volume dealership this would be an advantage, but is not essential provided you have the drive, determination, and hunger to succeed in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate must have up to date knowledge and relevant experience gained within the motor industry as well as the ability to deliver exceptional customer service, whilst negotiating profitable transactions. Understanding of legal, tax and fiscal implications of finance and insurance is preferred.

General Expectations of the Used Car Sales Manager

Manage and oversee all aspects of the Used Car Sales Department, including stock management.

Mentor, develop and motivate the Used Car Sales Team, retaining talent within the business.

Must have a detailed and analytical approach.

Roles and Responsibilities

Driving sales and maximising profitability, including through the sale of finance and insurance products.

Developing and motivating the team through measured 1-2-1 review meetings.

To assist in the closing of vehicle sales, where required.

In keeping with our manufacturer awarded 2021 Customer Excellence Award, provide an exceptional level of customer satisfaction in all areas of the business at all times.

To secure finance business using providers approved by the Wilson and Co Group.

To ensure all legal requirements of the FCA are met.

Daily review of online presence and amending adverts and pricing in line with market movements.

Assisting General Sales Manager with departmental forecasts.

Regular liaison with other departments to ensure that all stock vehicles meet preparation turnaround KPIs.

Leading sales meetings in the General Sales Manager’s absence.

Ensuring that all POS is displayed in line with the Company requirements.

Contributing towards the creation of high-quality marketing and promotion strategies.

Monitor and evaluate customer needs and competitor activity.

Meeting customers on handover to thank them for their business.

Monthly performance and development reviews with sales team.

Regular communication and interaction with members of other departments to develop the business and the business team ethos.
