Leasing.com was established in 2000 and is the largest dedicated marketplace to new vehicle leasing. We are not a broker. You don’t lease a car from Leasing.com. We are also not a funder. We do not offer or arrange vehicle financing, or provide financial advice.

We work collaboratively with the leading funders, retailers and brokers to help them promote their business and personal leasing offers to our market-leading consumer audience to generate quality sales enquiries.

While contract hire has been a popular choice for businesses for years, more and more consumers are now realising the benefits of leasing. In fact, in 2017 personal contract hire overtook hire purchase as the second-most popular form of consumer new car finance, with personal searches now accounting for well over 70% of all vehicle searches on our site. Just five years ago it was a 50/50 split between personal and business offers.

We see this growth as down to two factors - changing consumer habits and product awareness. People increasingly want access to products or services rather than owning them. The preference of usership over ownership is reflected in the recent success of media streaming platforms like Netflix and Spotify.

Awareness is also key, with many motor manufacturers now leading with contract hire offers in their national advertising campaigns for their new models and this tactic also becoming more commonplace in showrooms.

As new audiences are attracted to our marketplace, we also work hard to ensure our users receive the best possible experience. On our site, we operate a Code of Conduct and every advertiser must be authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). It is essential that brokers provide clear pricing for all products and services, are transparent about the availability of stock and only advertise vehicles and offers that are available.
