Tesla UK customers are seeking alternative vehicles after the brand cancelled right-hand drive (RHD) production for its Model S and X models.
Customers that had already placed orders will no longer have them fulfilled and can instead choose to get a right-hand drive Model 3 or Model Y and a £2,000 credit, or they can cancel their order.
For those customers that are not happy with a Model 3 or Model Y alternative, they may be in the market for ordering another EV that fits the bill.
Tesla had closed orders for its Model S and Model X in December 2021, but then reopened orders again in summer 2022.
However, the brand has said it is now focussing resources on its Model 3 and Model Y, as well as other models in development. It said removing RHD production for Model S and Model X will help to simplify its production process and allow it to improve quality.
