Electric vehicle brand Tesla is hoping to boost its profile in the UK this month through a nationwide tour with its Cybertruck.

Although the distinctive and rugged battery electric pick-up truck is not yet destined for sale in the UK, Tesla is taking it on a Cybertruck Odyssey to high footfall locations in the UK, as well as some Tesla dealerships.

Capable of up to 340 miles on a full charge, the Tesla Cybertruck has been designed to tow almost five tonnes, and it has a load bed that extends when there are no rear seat passengers to offer extra carrying capability.

It has already been to the Tesla store at Park Royal, London, and is currently on display at the Westfield London shopping centre until May 10, then it goes to King's Cross Station for one day, then Tesla's Solihull dealership and then the Birmingham Bullring shopping centre.

Later this month the Tesla Cybertruck will also appear at Spinningfields in central Manchester, then move to Tesla's Manchester Central dealership.

In June it will be on display at Edinburgh's Castle Street, then Glasgow's Tesla dealership, before heading to Belfast's Tesla store on June 7.
